The Community Play Association of North Lanarkshire is supported by Inspiring Scotland and managed by a voluntary committee. Our aim is to promote and support play provision, ensuring children can enjoy more and better free play opportunities across communities in the North Lanarkshire area.The Play Association provides
* Advice and support to play providers and community organisations
* Regular updates of information via newsletters and websites
* Discounted training opportunities and information from other providers of training
* Funding information and advice
* Networking opportunities for staff and committee members.
* Access to resources and materials to help with organisational and operational issues.
* Up to date information on play and the voluntary sector in general.
* Developing and sharing examples of best practice.
We promote the benefits and importance of play for children and offer opportunities for those working in the field to network, learn new skills, share ideas, and keep up-to-date and informed on a wide range of matters relevant to their work or interest in children’s play.
